Our Unique Curriculum
New Mind Health and Care is a non-profit, multidisciplinary, life coaching, behavioral health, and social service program that currently offers life-altering, cognitive-based, action-oriented interventions to individuals with criminal histories. NMHC tm services provide potential recovery for these individuals and works to promote successful re-entry and reintegration into society.

An overview of the foundation of cognitive-behavioral restructuring, and how persons can use it to deter criminal thinking and behavior.

Build an understanding of how the cognitive restructuring process can be applied to every day thought and actions.

Understanding how we process our emotions and communicate with each other, and how to use that understanding for family reintegration.

Develop empathy for others and apply cognitive restructuring and reframing to anti-social thoughts and behaviors.

Substance abuse education; and focus on remaining abstinent from substances and creating a sober community and network.

Working towards total wellness and health by learning to develop physical and emotional plans.

Developing an indiviualized care plan that addresses all the aspects of a successful reintegration into the local community.

Graduation is dependent on the creation of an individualized care plan, which will include the answers that every person re-entering society asks: What do I do now, and where do I go?
